I deep fry twice a month on average, and just the other day, someone told me that every time you deep fry something, you shorten the life of your deep fryer by about 100 uses. If you deep fry more than this, don’t worry. It’s not like your deep-fried food won’t be good because of how many times you’ve used your deep fryer (but, for example, don’t use it to make deep-fried ice cream!). Deep frying once every few weeks is recommended if you’re scared of destroying your deep fryer; try baking or boiling instead if it isn’t deep frying weather outside.
