Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen boneless skinless breasts.
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 6 tbsp cooking oil.
  • 1/2 tbsp Pepper.
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder.
  • 1/2 tbsp Cayenne powder.
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder (optional).
  • 1 tbsp flour or bread crumbs (I used Panko Japanese bread crumbs); you can use any brand of seasoned bread crumbs such as Italian seasoned bread crumbs; e.g., add grated Parmesan cheese if you like.

Instructions:

There are four steps to cook frozen chicken breast in an air fryer:

  1. Put frozen meat into the freezer for 15 minutes or until it is firm and solid enough so that you can cut it with kitchen shears, knife, or any cutting tools smoothly without leaving a mushy mess behind.
  2. Take out frozen meat from the freezer and cut them into large chunks (mine is about 4 x 5 inches).
  3. Sprinkle cooking oil, seasoning, and spices on frozen meat and mix well before cooking; e.g., salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne powder, onion powder (optional), 1 tbsp Panko Japanese bread crumbs, or seasoned bread crumb such as Italian seasoned bread crumbs; e.g., add grated Parmesan cheese if you like to make the frozen chicken breast crispy.
  4. Place the prepared chicken breast in the frying basket and set the temperature to 12-15 minutes at 200C/390F.
