Air Fryer Cake Recipes

You can make Air Fryer Cake Recipes in a few simple steps if you have all the necessary equipment. All that you will need is the Power Air Fryer XL, measuring cups, non-stick spray, wire rack, cake mix, and the frosting of your choice. If you love sweets, but aren’t fond of gaining weight, there are various recipes that you can try on your airfryer to minimize the fat found in your sweet food.

Here are three cake recipes that will satisfy your sweet tooth sans the guilt.

Air Fryer Cake Recipes:

1. The Chocolate Cake for Couples

If you want to eat some chocolate cake, but don’t want to waste too much time making it, an airfryer would be perfect for the job. This recipe will work as long as your airfryer has a basket at the bottom. If you want, you can also reduce your cooking time by using a ring tin.

Air Fryer Cake Recipes

What You Will Need:

  • 50g of butter
  • 50g of plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 50g of caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of apricot jam
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • Icing sugar
  • Some salt to taste

This cake will generally take an hour to make in total with 15 minutes allotted to prepare it, 15 minutes to cook it and half an hour of waiting.

How to Make the Cake:

  • Preheat your airfryer to 160 degrees Celsius.
  • Beat your caster sugar and butter in a bowl until you achieve a light yet creamy consistency. Add your apricot jam and egg into the mix along with the cocoa powder, plain flour and salt. Mix everything thoroughly.
  • Move the mixture into your ring tin and then level it with a spoon.
  • Put your ring tin into the basket of your airfryer.
  • Set your timer and bake your cake for 15 minutes. You will know your cake is ready when you can stick a toothpick in it and pull it out clean.

2. The Small But Great Banana Cake

Everybody loves banana cake. With an airfryer, you can easily make one that is the perfect size for up to four people, so you can satisfy your craving without worrying about what to do with the rest.

What You Will Need:

  • 50g of butter
  • 1 cup of SR flour
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt to taste

This cake will generally take an hour and a half to make in total with 15 minutes allotted to prepare it, half an hour to cook it and 45 minutes of waiting.

How to Make the Cake:

  • Preheat your airfryer to 160 degrees Celsius.
  • Spray some non-stick spray onto your ring cake tin.
  • Beat your brown sugar and butter in a bowl until you achieve a creamy consistency. Add your honey, egg and mashed banana into the mix along with the cinnamon, SR flour and salt. Mix everything thoroughly until you achieve a smooth consistency for the batter.
  • Move the batter into your ring tin and then level it with a spoon.
  • Put your ring tin into the basket of your airfryer.
  • Set your timer and bake your cake for 30 minutes. You will know your cake is ready when you can stick a toothpick in it and pull it out clean.

3. Wheat Eggless Cookies With Air Fryer

You can make cookies using whole wheat instead of using refined flour. This is also an eggless recipe. So it is very much healthy considering all perspective. You can also store this healthy cookie for the long time.

Air Fryer Cake Recipes

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar (Castor Sugar) – ½ – ¾ cup
  • Unsalted butter – ½ cup
  • Baking powder – ¼ tsp
  • Milk -2 tsp
  • Choco chips – 2 tsp.

Methods of cooking

  • Take a bowl and mix wheat flour, baking powder and unsalted butter. Then add Choco chips, sugar and milk and knead the dough frequently until it becomes soft and smooth.
  • For 15 to 20 minutes keep it in the refrigerator to be set. After that take the dough and make some small balls. Flatten the balls and give your desired shape to make cookies. Brush a little milk on the top of the cookies
  • Preheat he air fryer and put the made cookies in the basket of the air fryer for 10 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius. After that set more 10 minutes stand by time and wait until cookies become cool.
  • Now you can serve this cookie or store it in the airtight container.

How to make cake with Air Fryer?

First, preheat the air fryer to the desired temperature. Usually, the low heat range for cakes is the same as a tea kettle. Place the wire rack on the side of the air fryer where you will do the measurements. With your measuring cup, begin to pour the cake mix into the cups one at a time, making sure that the cake mix does not spill over the sides of the air fryer.

To mix the batter properly, it is essential that you use a wire teaspoon instead of a tablespoon so that the cake mix can mix evenly and adequately. Once all of the batters are mixed, you will now measure your cakes in small measuring cups, referred to as “doughts”. Start by measuring out approximately two cups’ worth of cake mix. Once you have all of your measuring cups filled, you will then take your wire rack and place the cakes in it, lining them up according to the recipe.

Next, using the measuring dry ingredients, carefully mix the dry ingredients, including the butter. Once you have mixed the dry ingredients well, you will then pour this mixture into your cake pans, lined up as you were previously, and baking should be completed in about one to two hours.

After you have finished your cake, you will want to remove the cake from the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before frosting it. You can use an oven mitt or your hand to frost the cake. After you have finished frosting on your cake, you can then remove the measuring cups and begin frosting the cake according to the cake recipe you used. To make the frosting easier to spread, you can either use a spatula or your hand. Just remember, using a spatula will ensure that the frosting flows more smoothly and evenly throughout the cup.
