5 Basic Yet Delicious Airfryer Meals For The Family
5 Basic Yet Delicious Airfryer Meals For The Family: My life has become much easier after I bought a big boss air fryer. This one-stop machine helps me roast, fry, bake and grill dishes much faster now. And in a healthier and better way to boot. In case you still haven’t made up your mind on whether to get one or not, here are 5 basic yet delicious types of food you can make for your family, so you can see how easy it is to use one.
1. The Crispy Yet Succulent Chicken
This is quite obvious since a lot of people use airfryers to cook chicken. The best part about airfryers, though, is that they can produce crispy chicken skin on the outside and juicy chicken meat on the inside. Most of the time, when I am in a hurry, I tend to place a few marinated chicken wings in my airfryer to work as an add-on to our dinner.
You can use any chicken parts for this, though. In fact, you can even use a whole chicken if you want. You can also experiment with different kinds of marinades – from Western barbecue sauces to Chinese-style oyster, sesame oil and soya sauces.
2. Beer-Battered French Fries
I have rediscovered my love for potatoes by slicing them, cutting them and even cutting them whole. Fortunately, potatoes and airfryers go very well together. Grab some beer-battered frozen French fries and simply put them in your airfryer. So, you can have crunchy fries ready in just 20 minutes.
3. Air-Baked Eggs
Other than potatoes, I also love eggs, whether they are soft-boiled, hard-boiled, scrambled, poached or sunny side up. I can add an egg to my instant ramen noodles and feel like I am in heaven. Unfortunately, as much as I have tried in the past, I simply cannot cook eggs.
While I haven’t tried making an omelette on my airfryer yet, I have tried baking some eggs and the results were phenomenal. In fact, I am incredibly stoked that I can now enjoy delicious eggs for breakfast without having to go to a café and pay a lot of money for them.
4. Spammed Up Fries
This isn’t exactly healthy, but it needs to be shared. If you love spam as much as I do, this sinful and delicious dish is something that you need to have your family taste at least once in their lives. I had tried Spam fries in several restaurants before and absolutely loved them. Now that I have an airfryer, I make my own and sprinkle some plum powder onto them for the most gastronomical experience possible.
I am definitely enjoying learning more about my new airfryer everyday and experimenting on different meals to feed my kids. I know that there are a lot of other dishes to explore out there. Just do a quick search online and fall in love with the different possibilities that await you with an airfryer.
5. Roasted Corn
It is no secret that I am a busy and lazy cook. To get around this problem, what I do is I cut back on cooking altogether and minimize the amount of appliances that I use as I cook. If possible, I will use one wok or one saucepan during the duration of my entire cooking process. So that I won’t have too many items to wash up after eating. My dishwasher has limits, too, after all.
So, when I decide to make some French fries with my airfryer, I try to add some vegetables in the mix while I’m at it. One nice and easy type of food you can look into is roasted corn. Roasted corn on the cob happens to complement fried food very well. Plus, all you will have to do is wrap up the corn in aluminum foil, cook it at 180 degrees Celsius and serve it with butter after 20 minutes.
